3D Lab Denmark was established in 2018 to fulfill the growing demand for patient-specific treatment solutions at the point of care. Engineers and clinicians join forces to find the best personalized treatment plan utilizing the newest 3D technology to meet the individual wishes and needs of the patients. The quest of the 3D laboratory is in accordance with the hospitals main focus: to provide the best management and care of each individual patients.
The 3D Lab is primarily involved in maxillofacial surgery but also in several other projects with other surgical and medical disciplines at the University Hospital of Southern Denmark and other Danish hospitals. Related research is conducted in collaboration with the Department of Regional Health Research, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark.
